The Video Amber Foundation works with Parent Teacher Organizations
throughout the country to take free 15-second digital videos of every
school child in the United States. The videos are turned over to local law
enforcement to assist them in locating missing children

With videos being updated annually, local law enforcement agencies will always have a
current video available in the event a child is reported missing.  Parents have the peace of
mind of knowing that they will not have to begin searching for pictures or videos in a time of
emotional distress.
The Attorney General of the U.S. has stated that 74% of children who are kidnapped and
later found murdered are killed within the first 3 hours after being taken. It is the purpose of
the Child Video Protection Program to find a missing child in the shortest time possible.
